English/Spanish translation services and cultural competence consulting for higher ed, for profit and nonprofit organizations.
I’m an experienced public health professional with a Ph.D. in Food Technology and a PMP® certification, specializing in the management of health equity and nutrition programs.
I have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, driving strategy, and executing high-impact projects that address social determinants of health. Seeking to leverage extensive background in leadership, program management, stakeholder engagement to contribute to impactful health equity initiatives.
As a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Costa Rica, I have a strong focus on fostering multicultural understanding and inclusivity through implementing culturally and linguistically appropriate services and resources.
My deep passion for translation has led me to provide those services (professionally and/or as a volunteer) to higher education institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations for the past 13 years.

Technical assistance to increase quality, accuracy and cultural appropriateness of resources or communication strategies depending on the target audience.
3. Conversational Spanish coaching
Support in the development of natural speaking skills through practice dialogues, and cultural context while focusing on practical vocabulary and real-world communication scenarios.
